A Distant Dream

In a world where time does not stand still,
Two friends once met on a distant hill.

Through laughter and tears, they forged a bond,
A connection so strong, they thought it beyond.

Friendship bloomed under the skies so blue,
Promises made, forever true.

Their paths would diverge, their friendship strained,
No longer could their hearts be chained.

Despite the care and love they shared,
The sands of time could not be spared.

For she was a transwoman, unique and true,
While he saw her clearly through.

But as much as he respected and admired,
In his heart, he knew he desired.

A love that she could never supply,
No matter how hard they both tried.

And so they parted ways as friends,
Their story coming to an end.

For she was who she was, and he was the same,
But in each other's hearts, they'd remain.

In a world full of laughter and tears,
Two souls connected throughout the years.

We shared our joys, we faced our fears,
Through the storms and the cheers.

I saw a woman in the mirror's gaze,
But in his eyes, a different phase.

He embraced me for who I am,
But his heart belonged to another dam.

I longed to be his dream come true,
Yet destiny had a different view.

With each passing day, my love grew strong,
But our friendship was where we belonged. nu

I wished for more, but fate had its say,
I cherished every moment, come what may.

As time went by, our paths diverged,
But the memories we shared, forever surged.

In his heart, I'll always gleam,
Even if I'm but a distant dream.

Though every line has a meaning but this one is special for me

  2. This poem really struck a chord with me. The emotions it conveys are so raw and intense, it's hard not to feel overwhelmed. I can sense the pain and suffering behind the words, and it breaks my heart to think about what the writer must have gone through. It's a reminder of the darker side of life, the hardships and struggles that we all face at some point. My heart goes out to the writer, and I hope they find peace and solace amidst the storm.
