The Flowers That Fell

In a garden of memories where flowers fell,
Echoes of your laughter I can no longer quell.
I've never forgotten you, though time slips away,
In my heart, your presence will forever stay.
It hurts to know you'll never look my way,
Lost in the shadows of our yesterday.
I still hear your words, whispered like a prayer,
But now they linger in the silent air.
The flowers may have withered, their petals turned to dust,
Yet the fragrance of our love refuses to rust.
I can't revive what once bloomed so bright,
A garden of emotions now cloaked in night.
I want to reveal my feelings true,
But fear grips me, holding me askew.
How do I move on when thoughts of you persist?
In a bittersweet dance, my heart still insists.
Please don't forget the moments we shared,
In a tapestry of memories intricately paired.
I'll hold onto them, come what may,
As I navigate this tragic, melancholic ballet.
